Student Handbook
The student handbook outlines academic policies, procedures and important dates and timelines while a student is enrolled at Southeast Technical College.
Attendance Policy
Students are expected to attend all sessions of courses for which they are enrolled. Instructors will provide policies concerning course attendance and the ability to make up missed work on their course syllabi or in program handbooks.
Refund Policy
Refund eligibility is determined by three dates: class start date, class end date and the date a student formally drops or withdraws from a class.
Non-Discrimination Policy
Southeast Tech prohibits discrimination in its policies, employment practices, programs and activities on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, age, gender (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, disability, national origin or ancestry, military/veteran status, genetic information or any other category protected by law.
Student Complaints and Concerns
You have a right to make your voice heard. Students with concerns or complaints are welcome to use one of STC's reporting mechanisms to get in touch with someone who can help.
Financial Aid Policies
In compliance with federal and state regulation, Southeast Technical College requires all students to maintain satisfactory academic progress toward the completion of a degree, diploma or certificate in order to receive financial aid.
